"What, of course not!" she tried to convince me, the lie clearly written on her forehead.

Soyeon inhaled sharply, unsure what to say next. It wasn't usual for the pretty girl to have a boy catch her eye and it was definitely much more unusual for her to talk to me about it now. Never would I have imagined that she liked someone from NCT as well, but despite my argument with the other members, I wasn't mad at her in the slightest.
"Definitely not..." she shook her head unconvinced while I just grinned at her in disbelief. She probably noticed that there was no point in continuing to lie, since I had clearly won with my assumption.
