Vince glared at me and I shrugged, scooping some ice cream.

"Why would you tell me something like that, baby girl? I don't need to hear all that!" He groaned and I shrugged, licking the spoon as I watched Sponge Bob.

"Because you're my best friend" I smiled at him and he sighed, patting my head like I had lost my mind. I was wearing a large grey shirt that belonged to Gianni.

I sighed dreamily and turned to Vince.

"It was so amazing. I can't believe I've never had sex before!" I sat up and knelt on the couch while Vince laughed, shaking his head.

"Best to not let Tino or Gianni hear that, kid. You hungry yet?" I pouted and shook my head but it was an absolute lie.

Tino and Gianni had been gone all day and I was bored. I was hungry but I'd rather not eat Vince's miserable food.

My eyes widened and I sat up as an idea popped up in my head.

"Why don't I make us dinner?" I turned to Vince who chuckled humorlessly and he glanced at me before finding out that I was serious.

"I think the fuck not. Tino will kill me." He shook his head and I pouted at him. I would surely kill for some of my mom's food right now but I would take what I could get.

"Ple-"

There was a knock at the door and my eyes widened. My heart bloomed like a waking flowering in the morning and I darted towards the door in excitement.

I stood at the door in excitement, bouncing on my toes and Vince chuckled and walked towards the door.

I was trying to guess who it was because Tino and Gianni never knocked the door. They had their own keys but it could be them.

Vince pulled the door open and my smile slowly diminished as a tall blonde with the largest breasts I had ever seen in all of my nineteen years of existence.

They were big.

Her blue eyes spoke of innocence, yet, there was an irony about it. Vermillion red lips matched her tiny dress and her heels looked too tiny to carry her weight.

"Is she the new maid?" I whispered to Vince who had frozen up beside me. Her lips turned into a frown when her pretty blue eyes touched me.

I guess I wasn't too good at whispering.

"She looks a little too...scantily clad for a maid though" I whispered, standing on my toes like that would cause me to reach Vince's ear.

The blonde's eyes narrowed in disgust and her eyes had turned ugly.

Ah...it seemed she heard me. I needed to work on my whispering skills.

"Miranda. What the fuck are you doing here?" Vince's voice was cold, angry and i frowned, wondering why his voice held so much hostility.

I shifted closer to him, gripping his shirt.

The said 'Miranda' smiled sultrily and ran her hand over Vince's chest but he gripped her hand tight, causing her to wince.

"Get the fuck out before I break your hand. Every fucking finger" I eyed her, my nose scrunching up in disgust. How was it so easy for her to break into someone's personal space with no regard at all.

"Why so violent, Vincenzo? I'm just here for my men" she giggled and Vince pushed her hand off him, causing her to stumble in her shoes.

"Ehn?" I called out when the last part of her words hit me. I eyed her and pursed my lips.

Which 'men' was this one talking about?

"I could just wait for them...I'm sure they miss me a lot. Especially Antoni-" I slammed the door shut and frowned, my breaking trying to pick out what she was trying to say.

"Who-who is she?" I glanced up at Vince who looked away from my eyes, staring at the ground with his jaws clenched.

I could hear my heart in my head and somewhere in my belly. I was breathing through my lips and my fingers tingled.

Who was she?

An ex girlfriend, clearly.

I walked to the couch and took the tub of ice cream before waking up the stairs to our room.

Tears welled in my eyes but I told myself it wasn't worth it. Tino and Gianni clearly had a past and from how Vince had reacted, she wasn't a topic they wanted to talk about.

I sniffled and scooped the ice cream into my mouth, sitting in the middle of the arranged bed.

My mind was running wild with thoughts as I stared distractedly at the TV that was also playing spongebob. I refused to let myself jump into any types of conclusions because I knew they loved me.

I could feel it in their touch.

My lips tugged into a small smile and I nodded. She was clearly their past and that was what she was going to remain.
