Chapter 17- I love you draco

Harry's POV

With Astoria gone nothing was in my way. I am finally going to do it. I'm going to confess to Draco.

Yes I had only known him for a year but that didn't matter. I knew he was mine the first time I laid my eyes on him.

"How should I do it?" I asked Darcy.

"Here we go again," she sighed.

I come to Darcy with all my problems, she was like the ultimate wing man. Well wing woman.

"Just tell him, you know he likes you," she said clearly bored.

"But what if he says no?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes in annoyance. "He won't,"

"How do you know?"

"Oh I don't know, maybe it's because I'm his sister that he tells everything to," she said.

That gave me a bit more reassurance but I was still nervous as hell. What if I accidentally said the wrong thing.

I could always write letters but that's so old school. I needed to do something over the top and dramatic. That's the kind of stuff that Draco likes.

"Do a scavenger hunt," Darcy suggested.

"That's a great idea!" I said running off to my room to make the clues.

Draco's POV

"Huh what's this?" I asked.

An owl that I didn't recognize had just dropped off a letter to me. I wasn't expecting a letter so this came as a surprise.

"Dear Draco,
Your eyes shine brighter than the stars. I need a map so I don't get lost staring into them. Come to the place that is best to see the stars.
                                        ~secret admirer"

Should I go meet them? What if it's a trap? I should ask Darcy.

I walked out of my room to find Darcy sitting on the couch. Before I even opened my mouth Darcy started speaking.

"No it's not a trap, yes you should go,"

I wonder how she knew it was me but brushed it off knowing that Darcy most likely said that to every person that walked through the common room waiting for me.

Anyways back to the letter. I'm guessing the answer is the forbidden forest, there was a clearing in the forest that is perfect for stargazing.

I set off towards the clearing. I probably should have got something to cover up with because it was getting dark. But it was too late now.

When I got to the clearing there was a single rose sitting on the ground.

"Dear Draco,
Great job you found the second clue only a few more until I reveal myself to you. I know how much you love to draw go to the place that you love to draw the most.
                                            ~secret admirer"

Wonder how they know that I like to draw. Then again they got my sister to help them. Wonder if they are Slytherin.

My favorite place to draw is the lake. Luckily the lake was near the forbidden forest so I didn't have to go that far.

I walked over to the lake and saw a one lit lantern and another rose.

"Dear Draco,
You are very good at this. One last clue then you will meet me. Go to the place were teddy sleeps. There you will find what you seek.
                                             ~secret admirer"

Oh so now they are getting creative. Teddy is our family owl, so where he would sleep would be the barns. (A/N I have no idea if they have a barn)

This time I wasn't so lucky. The barn was on the other side of the school so I set off towards it.

It was after hours so I had to be careful. This secret admirer better be worth all of this hassle.

I got to the barn and entered the large double doors. I went to the place marked teddy and there sat another rose.

This secret admirer must have a thing for roses.

"Dear Draco,
I'm so proud of you for finding this! I hope you know I love you to the moon and back. Come to the classroom that we observe the moon in. You will then know who I am.
                                             ~secret admirer"

Too the astronomy tower I go. At least I won't be cold outside.

I climbed the stairs to the astronomy tower, each step had rose petals. I reached the top and I gasped.

The whole place was littered with roses and rose petals. There were many candles lighting the place. A person was standing with their back to me.

"Hello?" I called out.

"Hey..... Draco," they said turning around.

It was Harry.

"I love you Draco,"

I felt my heart stop. He loved me. HE LOVED ME! This is the best moment of my life.

"So will you date me Draco?" Harry asked.

A/N: Hey lovelies! Thank you for all of your concerns recently. I am feeling better but my father has asthma. He is not feeling the best right now. I will continue to update as regularly as possible but please understand if I can't get a chapter out in time. And no this will not be the end of the story I have many things planned for the future.
