Chapter TEN

Sign10: "People who are lying may stare at you without blinking much."

 The man leads the two of you upstairs holding the refreshed drinks, you walked behind him and couldn't help but stare as he walked as confident as a man could be with his yummy, lean, toned muscles.

Yummy? I see..... she smirked at you but you ignored her.

You followed him out and up a set of stairs, walking a few steps behind him. Every now and then you would catch yourself staring at his back and look away guiltily, before drifting back to see the muscles moving gracefully under his fitted white shirt.

You pinched your hand, trying to knock yourself out of this state, but it didn't even hurt, it was just kind of tickly.

But when you noticed the stares and the flirting mouth movement he was receiving from every single girl we pass made your guilt a little less, you just stared. And you'd smile every time Jungkook walked past them without sparing any girl a single glance. Somehow you felt good when he did that.

When you arrived you looked away from him to the place. Instead of dance floors and drunk people, the place here was quieter. Tables and couches around in a beautiful luxurious design and people of groups sitting to chat or drink under the dimly blue lights of the lounge.

You followed him to an empty couch sitting comfortably as he placed the drinks on the table then joined you sitting down. The music was still heard but not as loud as it was, you two can talk comfortably here.

"You're so lucky, getting all this for free whenever you want," You commented when you felt how soft and comfortable the couch was. Even though clubs were never a place you wanted to go but if it was like this, comfortable, private, and free you'd never complain, "I am pretty sure a drink here cost more than my monthly salary," 

He chuckled, "I am sorry my country doesn't pay police enough," He smiled, eyes down as he started to shake his drink lightly, his "So, would you tell me what was the reason you suddenly wanted to try new things," He asked, his eyes traveling to lock with yours again.

Feeling somehow at ease with the man, you breathed before placing your elbows on the table, propping up your chin in your hands, "Can you guess?" you challenged him. 

Jungkook smirked cocking his eyebrow, he laughed, "Hmmm let me see ..... you went through a bad breakup?" he let out the first thing he thought about.

You shook your head, you chuckled,  "No, not even close," it was a logical answer though.

"'Not even close' you say, so it's not relationship related I suppose," He nodded smiling, paused to think for a second, looked at you carefully then said, "You got bored with life?"
