"Klaus, Ophelia and i faked the sun and moon curse dating back over a thousand years" Elijah explains again, while Elijah seemed totally calm, Ophelia on the other hand was starting to get extremely annoyed with the gilbert girl and wished she was with the other doppelganger, Katherine. Elena was dim, annoying, weak and always needed saving, as far as Ophelia could see, she had both of the Salvatore brothers wrapped around her fingers and they were always there to protect her, she was like a mouse with two big bodyguards and Ophelia couldn't help but think that Elena was a disgrace to the female gender. Females should be strong and independent, they should be able to take care of themselves and they definitely don't need a man to protect them. Women are warriors, they are the true alphas that lead the pack and protect their family. Behind every successful man is an even stronger woman.

"but if there is no curse" Elena says, trying to be smart and go back on what Elijah had said but it only made Ophelia scoff and roll her eyes in amusement 

"there is a curse, it just isn't the curse that everyone thinks that it is" Ophelia explains again for what seemed like the tenth time "the real one is much worse. Its a curse placed on Klaus"

"what are you talking about?" Elena asks in confusion 

"honestly Elijah, must we keep her with us, she is quite certainly beginning to drive me insane" Ophelia says with a sigh and Elijah grins at her and shakes his head then decides to answer Elenas question

"it is a curse that was placed on klaus. Klaus has been trying to break it for the last thousand years and you are his hope" Elijah explains and stops walking and turns to elena to see her with a confused expression on her face and suddenly her phone begins to ring from inside Elijahs pocket

"well what is this curse?" Elena asks in confusion

Elijah gets an annoyed look on his face and pulls elenas phone out of his blazer pocket and hands it to her "your phone will not stop its incessant buzzing. answer it please"

"this would be a lot more fun with kol or rebekah around" Ophelia mutters under her breathe 

"Stefen" Elena says as she puts the phone up to her ear and suddenly worry civers her face which instantly attracts the attention of both Elijah and Ophelia "no. no, no, no, no, no ill be right there" she says and then hangs up the phone

"klaus went after jenna, i have to go to her" Elena says to them quickly

"I'm afraid that wasn't part of the days arrangement" Elijah says with a scowl on his face

"what did you expect Lij? for her to actually keep up her side of the bargin, you've gone through all of this before and how did that turn out for you?" Ophelia says to him in annoyance 

"shes my family elijah, i have to" Elena says "I'll be back. you have my word"

Ophelia couldn't help but laugh at this "oh Elijah dear, you have my word. " she says and mocks elenas voice and then turns to elena "Listen bitch, trust is earned not just given and you haven't given him a single reason to trust him, and before you say that he can trust you because you pulled the dagger out of him, who do you think pulled the dagger out of him most of the other times; it was klaus, the same bloody person who put them in there. Now, you're going to come back, lets just hope for your sake that you come back on your own accord"

Elena looks over at ELijah, waiting for him to say something to Ophelia and stand up for her but the look on his face made it clear whos side he was on

"Ophelia is right. That doesn't mean anything to me until you live up to it" Elijah says to her with a blank face but he nodded for her to go

"thank you" Elena whispers and then runs off
