Taehyun just stared at the boy, absolutely shocked. "Hold on," He managed to say after some time, "You don't remember her at all?"
Do san looked so helpless, "I could remember everything else, my parents, my siblings, my school, heck, I even remembered my grandmother's dog's name, but that girl? I have absolutely no recollection of her."
"Why didn't you say so?" Taehyun asked slowly.
Do San shrugged, "Well, it would be hurtful if I said to her face 'who the hell are you?', right? So I just kept quiet, pretended to know who she was and pretended that I wanted to know how she was doing.
"But-" Before Taehyun could say anything, Chaeryeong returned, with a bright beam on her face. "Your parents say you can be discharged soon!" She chirped, so oblivious it made Taehyun's heart ache, "Which means you can go to school soon! There are so many people I want to introduce you to, you've missed out so much!'
As Chaeryeong rattled off the list of what he had to catch up on, Taehyun couldn't help but pity both parties.

The whole situation was becoming quite a love triangle.
Not that Taehyun had a crush on Chaeryeong.
But the only thing Chaeryeong spent her waking hours was talking about Do San. Even after Taehyun had mustered up the courage to ask for Chaeryeong's phone number, in all their conversations, Chaeryeong had to bring up Do San one way or another.
It was starting to get annoying.
No matter what, it was Do San this and Do san that.
Then Taehyun couldn't handle it anymore.
It was a rainy afternoon at the cafe, Taehyun was handling an order, the crowd wasn't too big, so Chaeryeong hung around the counter to chat. Jisu took a sick leave for the day, so it was just the two of them.
Chaeryeong had gone off on the topic of Do San, and Taehyun tried to tune it out and put his effort into making the orders.
"Hey, are you listening?" Chaeryeong asked suddenly as she rapped the counter to get his attention.
"Hm?" Was all Taehyun had to say to prove that he had not registered a single word the girl had said. Chaeryeong frowned lightly, "I was telling you how Do San-"
"When are you not talking about Do san?" Taehyun finally snapped, having had enough of the boy, "Can you let it go for like, a minute?"
The girl, to say the least, looked hurt. "How could you say that?" She said, sounding shaky and her voice cracking, "How could you say that when we've been waiting for him to wake up for months?"
"Well, maybe you shouldn't bring him up every five seconds!" Taehyun bit at her, not realising how hard he was clenching the cup in his hand.
There was a moment of stunned silence between the two before Chaeryeong began blinking furiously as she mumbled out, "Fine, fine, okay, I'll just...leave you now."
She scooped up her things hurriedly and hastily exited the cafe, despite the pouring rain she held no umbrella.
Taehyun wondered if he should run after her to at least give her an umbrella.
Then he turned back to the order.
