Barry smirked into his drink. His latte was proving to be a bit of a challenge. But that was ok, he was always up for challenges. He knew he wanted her, and he was determined to unravel the mystery she was, especially as everything and everyone reminded him of her. The winter leaves reminded him of her hair, and every time someone ordered a latte, he was reminded of her. What really intrigued him was she didn't care about his family name or money. Normally when girls found this out, they'd fall at his feet, but not his latte. But then he'd end up feeling lonely as he would come to realise the girls only wanted him because of his family name or money.

"You look happy" said his friend, taking a seat opposite him

"I'm always happy"

"True, but today you have a certain glow about you"

"Do I?"

"Yes, so spill the beans"

"There are no beans to be spilled. Must be my natural glow"

"Barry, I've known you for ages. I know what you normally look like. Now spill"

"Ok, but you can't tell anyone"

"I swear"

"I might of met someone"

"I knew it. Only a girl can put such a glow on your face. Just be careful yeah? I don't want to see you get hurt again"

"This ones different"

"Aren't they all?"

"No, seriously she is"

"How?"

"She doesn't even like me, for a start"

"I like her already"

Barry sighed and put his face in his hands

"Oh man, you really like her don't you?"

Barry slowly nodded

"Ok, this is what you do. You said she's new in town?"

Barry nodded

"Ok, well invite her for a night out. It'll be a group thing with some other mates, so she won't feel uncomfortable and you can spend time with her"

Barry's face lit up

"Your a genius, you know that?"

"I try"

Barry quickly ran out of the shop, and to the hospital.

Caitlin was busy examining a patient when Barry barged in

"Latte, I need to talk to you"

"Barry, have you lost your mind? You can't just barge in here, demanding things. I'm in the middle of something"

"It's ok dear. I can spare five minutes for young love"

Caitlin grabbed Barry and pushed him out of the door

"Five minutes" she said to her patient

"Barry, what the hell? Who do you think you are just barging in like this?

"Sorry latte, I just really needed to talk to you"

"What do you want?"

"I'm here to invite you on a night out. And before you say no, it's not just me, but a group of us. This way you'll get to see the town, and have a night out and meet some new people"

"If I say yes, will you let me get back to my patient?"

"Absolutely"

"Fine"

Caitlin ran back inside

"I'm so sorry for that"

"It's ok dear. I can spare time for young love"

"I don't love him. Infect, I don't even like him"

"You say that, but I saw your face light up the moment he entered the room. I can clearly see how smitten he is with you. I can see you feel something for him too, but your denying it for some reason. My dear, let him love you. You don't get many men like him nowadays. He looks at you like my husband used to look at me. I would do anything to have my husband back. I can't, but don't let this chance of happiness pass you by"

Caitlin looked at her patient. Was it true? Did she have feelings for Barry?
