"I'm so sorry unnie," Yuna said, her mouth forming a small pout while her eyebrows angled downwards, clearly a look of guilt on her face.

"It's okay, Yuna-ya," Yeji said, smiling and ruffling the hair of the youngest. There really was no reason for Yuna to be apologizing anyway.

It was just bad timing, that's all.

"Did we see what we thought we saw though?" Ryujin asked, her one eyebrow raised as high as she could, a little smirk forming across her face.

The three were huddled on Yeji's bed, while Jisu and Chaeryeong were outside, the former washing the pile of cloths Yeji had in the corner of her room despite Yeji begging her not to, while the latter was in the kitchen, cutting up the apples the three had brought for Yeji.

Yeji could only shake her head in response to Ryujin's question.

She honestly didn't know what the 3 had saw, nor did she herself even know what she was doing.

But if her memory was correct, and she's certain it was, just a few minutes ago, she really was about to kiss Jisu, wasn't she?

Was she disappointed that her 3 best friends stormed in at the worse timing possible?

Maybe a little.

But she also couldn't hide the giddiness she had in her heart which was still continuously beating at much higher rate than usual, the thought of Jisu leaning in towards her continued to play in her head.

Outside of the room, Chaeryeong had finished cutting up the apples and washing the grapes, placing them neatly on a big plate.

"Jisu unnie!" Chaeryeong called out to the older girl who was in the laundry room. "Fruit's ready!"

Jisu steps out of the room after pressing a few buttons to start the washing machine, closing the door on her way out so that it wouldn't loudly echo through the apartment.

"Unnie...," Chaeryeong whispered, just as the two were about to enter Yeji's room. "W-were you guys about to ... you know? K-kiss?"

Jisu lightly flicked Chaeryeong's forehead.

"Ow!"

"Don't be stupid, Lee Chaeryeong," Jisu said as she pushed the door open, walking into the silver haired girls bedroom, with Chaeryeong following behind.

"Fruits ready!" she excitedly said after shaking off the lingering pain from Jisu's flick.

The 4 decided to sit on the floor beside Yeji's bed, while the sick girl stayed seated upright on the soft futton, her blanket still draped over her her legs to keep her warm.

Jisu took a fork and stabbed a piece of the apple, before giving it to Yeji who was a little too faraway to reach the plate on her own. Her tiny little gesture caused a much larger commotion from the 3 younger girls, who instantly exchanged teasing looks at each other, with Chaeryeong even playfully slapping Yuna's thighs repeatedly.

Yeji, noticing the usual antics of her dongsaengs, decided to speak up first, in hopes that she could redirect their attention away to something else.

"H-how was practice today?" Yeji asked, biting into the piece of apple.

"It was alright, coach made us run a lot today. I'm guessing that was your suggestion?" Ryujin answered.

Yeji chuckled.

"Yeah it was, sorry. I just noticed that a lot of us were getting too tired by the end of the game including myself, so I told coach it would be a good idea to add more cardio to training."
