Chapter 10

*1 week later*

Connor's POV

Me, Mallory, and Jc are at the strawberry field now. Since Lia and Sarah are working today, the three of us decided to hang out since me and Jc are always around our girls more than Mallory.

Lia is working on her clothing line and Sarah is at the hospital working.

Instead of going to the amusement park or movies, we decided to pick strawberries at this massive strawberry farm. We thought it would be fun and more healthy. Mallory wanted to make a strawberry cheese cake anyway.

"Do we have enough strawberries?" Jc asked

"No!" Mallory shouted

"Mallory, we have 3 baskets filled to the top already!" I exclaimed

"Yeah okay, just kidding. We have enough" she said

We walked back to the car and decided on going out to lunch since it was only 12:27.

"Where should we eat?" I asked

(Making places up)

"Oh! Let's go to Boom Cafe. I heard they had the best smoothies and pasta" Mallory said

"Boom Cafe it is then" I said and started the car

It was only a 15 minute drive to Boom cafe and we spent that time talking about whats been going on.

We finally reached the place and I parked in the stall right in front of the doors. We exited the car and went inside.

"Reservations?" The man upfront asked

"Um, no" I said

"Okay, please wait and I'll come and get you guys in a moment. What is your name?" he asked

"Connor Franta" I said

"Okay, thank you" he said and walked off

We sat down and Mallory sat on my lap so the other people in the back of us could sit too.

"I need to go to the studio tomorrow" Mallory sighed

"What's wrong? You don't like the studio?" Jc asked

"I love the studio. But I also love my sleep and I need to be down there at 5 in the morning" she said

Me and Jc laughed.

"I wouldn't be laughing because one of you need to drop me off"she said and smirked

"Not it" me and Jc said at the same time

"You guys can both take me since you love me so much" Mallory said putting an arm around both of us and pulling us to her for a hug.

"Yeah yeah" we mumbled

"Connor Franta" We heard someone call out. It was the waiter. He looked young. Maybe 2 or 3 years older than Mal.

We stood up and walked to him and I noticed him staring at Mal.

I cleared my throat and he looked up.

"Oh sorry, right this way" he said

He led us to the back and we sat down.

"Here are the menus, I'll be back to get your order" he said and walked off

"I already know what I want" Mallory said taking out her phone

"No, put the phone down and step back" I said as if I was a cop

"What?" She asked confused

"We will not have this day with out faces in our phones. This goes for you too Jc" I said taking their phones

"Well damn" they said

"Carter" they said again and laughed.

The waiter came back and we ordered our food. And again, he was staring at Mallory. A few moments later, I got my grilled steak and onion, Jc got his club sandwich, and Mallory got her chicken Alfredo pasta. We all got smoothies for our drink since Mallory wouldn't shut up about how good it was.

"Thanks a lot Jc" Mallory said

"What did I do??" He asked

"I'm addicted to supernatural and its your fault" I said

"Why is it his fault?" I asked

"Yeah" Jc said sticking out his tongue like a 5 year old.

"Because you would always show me episodes of supernatural and I started from the beginning and now I'm hooked" she said taking in another bite of her pasta.

"Well I'm sorry the show is so good that I needed to share it with people" he said laughing

"Yeah whatever" she said then laughed

Once we were done, we went to the front to pay so we could leave. Luckily the guy wasn't there, and we paid and left.

"I think our waiter liked you" Jc teased

"You guys saw it too, thank gawd" she said and we laughed

"He wouldn't quit staring" she said

We got in the car and decided on going to the store and get dinner for tonight.

"I'm gonna stay in the car" Mallory said

Me and Jc nodded and I rolled the back windows down half way do Mallory wouldn't be stuffed in here and me and Jc went into the store.

Mallory's POV

I don't know what's wrong with me. I was completely fine today. I felt great. Now, my head hurt, my stomach hurts, and I'm freezing.

I don't even know a person could feel like this that quick. I honestly don't know why I feel like this.

It has been 20 minutes and my head is now pounding. I decided to go inside the store and buy a bottle of water so I could sip on it. Maybe it would help me.

I took the keys from the middle apartment and rolled up the windows. I got out and locked the car. When I turned around I could see dad and Jc walked back. Then I felt dizzy and fell to the ground.

"Mallory!" I heard them yell

Good. The powder I sprinkled on her pasta worked. Let's see how long she'll last.
