We never spoke about that night ever again. We just brushed it away and pretended like it never happened in the first place. However, I took away one thing from that night. I fell head over heels for my neighbour.

I recovered my old Minecraft account and started to play again with Tommy. It was interesting to actually play the game with him, we hadn't played videos games together in so long.

"Do you remember the world we made when we were younger?"

"oh my that horrible thing😐😐😐"

"Do you want to revive the world with me on stream?"

"sure :)"

Just like that, I downloaded Discord so that we could call while he streamed.

"Today we are going to revive an old world that I've made with my friend, Y/N," He said to his stream.

"Hellooo," I said into my earpiece microphone. I didn't have the proper equipment but I wasn't a real streamer so I didn't want to waste money to get a microphone that I would only use once.

The world was just like we left it, on the left was Tommy's house with the same architectural style he has now  and on the right was the ocean. In front of the door, there was a leashed white dog waiting for its owner to come back home.

As soon as you stepped into Tommy's house, you could see two beds side by side and a crafting table near the corner. Not the best interior design but we were 9 so I let that slide.

Everything in the world made me reminisce about the past. We made this world when we were barely even a decade old and now here we were, at 16 years old looking back at the fond memories made in this server.

Those were really the good days, I wished I had cherished them more.

We ended the stream after two hours and Tommy started doing his homework.

I was leaning out of my window watching Tommy doing his homework. I was there in case he had any questions about the material. Until my phone beeped meant that I had a new message. Specifically, from Oliver.

"Hey, so do you have an answer for me?"

My smile faltered, I knew I would have to face him soon. My answer would definitely affect our friendship, but I was afraid that Izzy and Jacob would gang up against me too.

"yea."

"Meet at the park now?"

Oh my, I had to do this in real life.

"I'm going to the park for awhile, call me if you need anything," I said as I walked out of my room. Tommy nodded in acknowledgement.

"Hey," Oliver walked up to me to sit in the swing next to mine.

"Hey," I said still looking down at the ground.

"So what's your answer," He asked as he slowly swung on the swing. He asked in such a hopeful tone, I felt bad for rejecting him but I didn't want to lead him on anymore. It would just be painful for the both of us.

"I'm sorry Oliver-," before I could finish, he interrupted.

"It's okay, we can still stay as friends right?" He said as if he knew my reply already.

"How did you know what I was going to say? Didn't you tell everyone you thought I would accept you?" I asked calmly.

"What? I didn't tell anyone I confessed to you," He replied.

"But Tommy told me-," I said as I connected the dots in my head. He went to school early, so that he could overhear what he had to tell me. How could I be so inattentive?

"You like Tom don't you?" He asked.

"Haven't I made it obvious enough," I asked slowly relaxing my expression. Oliver snickered and looked towards the sky.

"So what are you gonna do about it?" He asked.

"I don't really know," I said as I looked up as well. I knew I'd have to face the music some day, but I really didn't want it to affect our friendship. So I decided that I would keep it to myself for now.

We parted ways soon after the short meeting, it was nice to know that Oliver was not going to ruin our friendship over this small situation. I felt like I could trust him.

"Y/N, LOOK," Tommy said as he saw me come back into my room. I took off my jacket and sat close to my window to see what was going on.

"What? I don't understand, what are all these numbers?" I asked as I looked at his PC. He pointed towards the biggest numbers on the screen and said, "THATS MY SUBSCRIBER COUNT I'M GOING TO HIT ONE MILLION!" I knew he was a streamer, but I never actually paid attention to the fact that he had such a big following.

"WOAH CONGRATULATIONS," I said as I clapped in support. I knew he worked hard on his channel so it he really deserved it.

"Do you want to go to an ice cream parlour nearby to celebrate?" I asked.

"Sure, I'll go get ready," he said as I drew back my curtain to avoid seeing him change.

I waited for him outside his house, with my hands in my pockets to keep me warm since I'd brought out heat packs. It wasn't snowing, but the temperature was still pretty cold.

He walked out in a blue jacket with a turtle neck, also with his hands in his pockets.

"Cute," I muttered under my breath.

"What?" He said as he walked towards me.

"Nothing," I said as I grabbed his arm and walked towards the ice cream parlour.
