It is never an easy feat to find the perfect present you can give a person. That is unless you happen to despise this certain human being. If I were asked to gift someone I find absolutely disgusting and despiteful, my present would either be nothing or a bag of my dog's shit. In the first place, just who would agree wasting even a cent for someone so absolutely horrendous that a simple wiff of their smell can make you barf your intestines out?
I certainly wouldn't.
Conversely, however, it is very much different the more you are fond of this certain person. If this is your crush we're talking about or perhaps a great friend who stuck with your imperfect person for years, it is only natural that you make utmost effort to come up with the perfect present.
In my opinion, the most difficult person to choose a present for is an acquaintance that is without a doubt an angel in disguise but someone you are merely acquaintances with. The wall in between your small talks and short casual conversations make it difficult to fathom their true personality and interests. It is difficult to know what a person wants for Christmas if all you have ever talked about is "the nice weather you're having today".
A bored sigh puffs out a certain golden sunshine haired male going by the name Ja Wangnan. With his cheeks pressed on the smooth, cold texture of the first year common room, the student council treasurer stares blankly at his classmate's pen gliding through her homework with a languid posture. While waiting for the clock to strike ten and meet up with the rest of the council, the raven-haired girl decided to get some of her works finished while Wangnan decided to keep her company due to his boredom.
"Hey, Ehwa," Shifting on his position, Wangnan perches his chin on the common room table as the owner of the said name hums in response. "What do you think Endorsi would want as a present?"
"And, why are you asking me?" Without bothering to look up from her paper, the silky haired female responds with a bland tone. "And, don't just reveal who you're playing Santa for like that. It makes the game lose its purpose."
"Well, I don't really have a choice. I don't even know much about her. I figured I'd get her make up, but I doubt it would suit her refined taste." Wangnan begins whining out his complaints, puffing his cheeks. Raising his head to straighten himself up, only to rest his cheek on his palms, he click his tongue bitterly.
"If only prez didn't ask for a switch..."
The final words he had mumbled out caught Ehwa's attention, resulting the ebony-haired girl raising her head as her pen came into a complete halt. The young lady lets her rosy-colored eyes gaze at the boy before finally speaking up.
