1. I didn't realize Genesis had depression until I wrote chapter 11 and I thought about her thoughts and actions as a whole.
2. The female OCs name was Alicia. I don't remember about so I changed to Genesis.
3. Matthew is Australian-Croatian, born in Australia; Matthew's OCs name was Matteo. He was Hispanic, from Spain.

4. If Adrian was ever diagnosed with a mental disorder, it would be psychopath. He has no remorse.

6. I wrote DH as an entry for the 2018 Wattpad Open Novella Contest, which made it on to round 3. Unfortunately, I dropped out after round 2 because I couldn't keep up. I'm not great with deadlines. It was written based on the 1940s.
7. S5E12 and S10E18 of Criminals Minds partially inspired DH.

9. Genesis and Matthew's relationship was originally written as DDLG before it transitioned into a soft BDSM relationship.
10. There has been 3 versions of DH, including this one. Well, 4 now because I'm making a paperback for myself where I rearranged some scenes in the first few chapters.
11. Genesis's platinum blonde wig was inspired by Ariana Grande's in the music video for Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored.

12. I have 6 stories planned in this series: Dollhouse, In The Dark, Kingpin, Killing Katherine,Wicked Game and Angelic Death. They are all standalones.
13. Many books have inspired characters and/or themes in all of the stories in the universe.
14. The toy dolls that serve as inspiration for the human dolls were Valentina's dolls. They were passed down to Genesis as Valentina outgrew them.
15. There is an alternative storyline where Adrian dies earlier in the story after being shot by Sarah.
16. There are TWO spin-off trilogies that I've thought about for stories about the side characters, including Marcos and Valerie, Liam and Grace, AND one of Genesis and Matthew's daughters.
17. There are other standalones that aren't paet of The Sinners Series OR the trilogies that include other characters in this universe. These include Matthew and Genesis's other daughter and Rayna and Salvador.
