I helped others
Because I cared too much
I put others before myself
Because I didn't care enough about myself
I laughed and smiled
I covered my tears
I trusted no one
And kept it all build up
When I broke apart
When my heart fell
They said
Impossible!
When I went into depression
They said
Is this even possible?
She used to smile
All the time
She used to be so happy
What happened?
She was smiling always
Now she is sitting in her room
Thinking when next would be the day
She would find the light
