Thick black clouds sprawl across the vast sky which loomed over the girl as she pulled her jacket tighter in hopes of preserving warmth.

Their melancholy glares drain the surroundings of any light and life, houses and cars, even the trees looked bleak with the relentless rain pounding down on them.

The heavy scent of rain hung in the air as Yunhee sniffled- already feeling a cold approach her- cursing herself for not having an umbrella as she quickened her pace towards her house.

Yunhee had a meeting with Donghyuck which lasted longer than usual, both of them at their wits end, up to their knees in paperwork and stress that consumed them.

A loud, earthshaking boom rolled through the atmosphere eliciting a small gasp from the girls lips in shock- she pressed a hand to her chest- biting down on her bottom lip as her heels clicked against the ground faster.

The dark sky was decorated with ominous black clouds, the wind whistling and howling like a wolf crying into the night.

Rain splattered the sidewalks haphazardly, falling thicker and faster, cascading down like a waterfall then the liquid beads began to pound down heavier.

Her breaths were becoming more restricted from the cold that attacked her lungs, causing her to cough a few times- pain striking up once more.

Another sniffle as she walked up the driveway of her house- rummaging around in her bag for a key but was unable to find one.

Instead she rang the doorbell twice, waiting in the freezing cold rain but not long after the door swung open.

Yunhee was met with Jaemin's figure who immediately looked at his girlfriend who was soaked head to toe- rain dripping from her hair and nose red.

He gasped- ushering her inside and helping her peel her soaked jacket from her body.

"Sweetheart, why did you walk here?" He asked, brows furrowed in concern. Guilt rising up him as he kicked himself for not asking if she needed to be picked up.

Yunhee sniffled, coughing slightly before speaking.
"My phone died." She murmured, watching as Jaemin brought a towel towards her- gently drying her hair with a slight pout on his lips.

"My baby is going to get sick now." He mumbled, sighing as she coughed once more. He held her shoulders in his hands, looking down at her lovingly.

"Okay, you go take a warm shower or bath okay- make sure you're nice and warm and I'll make you some hot chocolate."

Yunhee nodded- sniffling again and Jaemin frowned, his hand on her cheek and brushing the raindrops from her skin before leaning down and stealing a kiss from her cold lips.

"Go," he ushered. "Go before you get sick please."

Yunhee nodded, knowing how concerned he got over the girl as she began to walk up the steps.

Jaemin watched as she retreated upstairs and didn't move until he heard the shower running.

The boy walked over to the kitchen, begining to make the hot chocolate, eyes drawing over to the white fluffy dog laying by the fireplace.

As cute as he was, extremely cute- he mainly helped Yunhee with her condition as he could sense when her lungs would flare up or her anxiety and was able to get help if something happened.

Jaemin walked over, crouching down and petting him gently.
"Are you tired hm?" He cooed, watching as the dog nuzzled into him.

"I'm so hungry." Yunhee's voice spoke out as she walked down the stairs with the towel around her shoulders- Jaemin's sweater over her body and some sweatpants.

Jaemin smiled at her, a beaming smile full with adoration that glinted in his eyes.
"Come here." He said, motioning to the sofa, Yunhee walking over and sitting next to him as he grabbed the towel from her shoulders and began to dry her hair.

Her eyes fell to the table, two cups of hot chocolate and three pills besides hers.
She sighed upon seeing them, being reminded of her illness that didn't seem to be getting any better.

Jaemin looked at her, following her eyesight before leaning towards her- arms wrapping around her waist and chin placed on her shoulder.

"What's wrong?" He murmured, his lips barely brushing against her skin but sent shivers down her spine.

"Just...hate being sick Jaem."
"I know sweetheart, I wish I could make it all better."

Yunhee moved away from him- turning around to face him- placing a hand on his soft cheek as she gazed at him lovingly.

"You do Jaem, I'm so glad I have you." She spoke, leaning towards him and resting her head against his.

"I still don't forgive you for stepping on my bear shaped chocolate cake."

A laugh escaped Jaemin's lips at her words and her own lips curved up.
"I promise I'll buy you some more okay?"
"Hm, I guess so." She teased, her hand sliding to the back of his neck where her thumb brushed over his hair.

"I really do love you, a lot."
"I love you too." She replied in a soft whisper.

"God, you're so fucking perfect." Jaemin murmured, closing the gap between them as he pressed his lips against hers.

Yunhee couldn't help but smile into the kiss, memories of them fleeting through her mind and filled her chest with warmth.

She really did love Na Jaemin and he really did love her.

They were both no longer living in solitary.
