And Hera saw the tyrants plan
For feral queen to slay the man.
By using queen as pawn he hopes
To have the hero hung by rope.
For Lydias sovereign's raving mad
So causing sorrow makes her glad
When Omphale orders heros death
He must obey or be bereft.
Of labors twelve that's give by gods
To serve these task where mortals trod.
So death by gods or death by queen's
The only choice for son of king
Of mount where godlike folk do dwell
And host in stony halls now swell.
So patron god of condemn man
Must fast devise a cunning plan
To spare the hero limb and life
From queen who loves to bring much strife.
For long she sets on golden throne
And seeks to halt a rolling stone
The plan that tyrant set in play
To send the hero down to grave.
Then idea strikes the godlike queen
In eyes of Hera mischief gleams.
Her chariot queen of gods does call
To leave the palace granite halls.
And go to realm of nother god
Where love and beauties lofty laud.
So Venus god of love receives
Her lord and sovereign godlike queen
Her perfume wafts from goddess throne
And beauty bright as fire's shone.

"My mistress greatest honor's bestowed
To visit god of beauties home.
What favor wants the queen of mount
I'll grant her boons in greatest count."
So Hera told the god her plan
To save the life of patroned man.
And Venus smirked at cunning scheme
Devise by desperate goddess queen.
"Your plan is wise and full of thought
For love so many beast has taught
A gentler touch and kinder way
And love can make the cruelest sway
From tyrants path to nobler road
When love the heart of villain hold.
My son I'll send to strike her heart
And cause the beast to play her part."
