"come in, angie!"

the door opened. "hello?" eden stood from the couch and was confused when she saw a middle-aged man standing in her doorway.

"who are you?"

"i'm dimitri, from flip's waffle house. you ordered for some waffles, right?"

"yea," eden replied as she paid him. "it's just that there's another guy who usually delivers to me. his name's angelo."

dimitri handed her the waffle box. "oh, that guy? the kid quit yesterday." eden was even more confused now than before.

"he quit? did he say why?"

he shook his head. "nope. just came in and quit." he turned and began to walk away.
