The light touch and caress of his hand have calmed me down. After sitting on his lap for a while, him easing my pain and stopping my cries with kisses and embraces, we decided to head towards his house. I feel exhausted like all the energy has been drained out of me. My whole body hurts and my bones seem to be weak, barely keeping me in place. My locked eyes hurt even though I don't open my lashes. It stings and when I do, my vision is blurry. The darkness has surrounded us as small lights and chatters travel to my ears of the big streets. Forcing my eyes to open, I realize that his house it's away from mine. Big, clear roads covered in utter darkness unfold before us. Trees, expensive cars, bodyguards are found outside every house. Huge mansions appear in my vision, some of them having walls surrounding them, preventing me from seeing easily inside. But the domiciles are so high that are towering, allowing them to take a few peaks. Tremendous houses with balconies and crystal walls fill my vision. I manage to look through a few houses without obstacles in the way, only to gaze at green gardens full of flowers and pools. It seems like the place where the Hollywood stars, singers and wealthy businessmen live. The sight of a few bodyguards outside a mansion intrigues me once again, making me wonder about the place, the people who live here but the thing that has stuck my mind since I took a glimpse of this rich suburb is...what is Corbyn doing in here?

Does he live here? Is he...rich? Does his family own a business? And if yes, why hasn't he mentioned anything before? Running through the black and empty hallways of my mind trying to remember anything relevant to his family though it's a dead end. I don't know anything except what was said that night when he got hurt. That night is still a big mystery to me.

The car slows down and turns a little only to stand in front of a big steel gate. On my left, to Corbyn's side, from a small space with dark glass windows appear two men and Corbyn pulls his window down. The one looks at his watch and his eyebrows pop up as the other extends his hand.

"Damn it," he snaps and takes a hundred dollar outside his pocket and hands it to the other bodyguard who seems pleased, having a satisfied smile formed on his lips.

"You bet on what time I'll back again, didn't you?" Corbyn questions with a shadow of a smile on his beautiful face.

"Damn right we did! But that's not the point...what are you doing here? It's too early for you!" the man who lost his money grunts.

"We should be happy that he's here earlier than usual!" The other man groans.

"Easy for you to say when you have got a hundred dollars in your hands!"

Corbyn fights a laugh rolling his eyes and turns to look at me.

I don't think I could ever be tired of admiring those blue ocean eyes that can mirror every single emotion of the soul I'm in love with. His tender and loving gaze has the power to remind me of his previous three magical words. I love you. I know for sure that I won't ever get tired listening to these words coming out of his full lips that kiss and caress mine like no one had before.

Escaping out of my reverie, I realize that two pairs of eyes watch mine.

"Hello," I speak not wanting to make things awkward.

"Tell me you have a girlfriend!" the man who lost the bet asks enthusiastically.

"I do," Corbyn states and after a few seconds of exchanging stares, the man who won throws back the dollar. I burst into a laugher as I realize that this was another bet that he thought will never lose.

"I can't believe you actually bet on my dating life," Corbyn complains rolling his eyes in exasperation but a little humor. Before they can answer, reason their actions, Corbyn presses the throttle and we begin to cross a big road.
