WEEK AFTER WEEK THEY WERE VISITING OMARI. Not once had Inola put on her clothes and went with them. The tension was so high that if someone sent a look the other person's way, things could escalate. Inola mostly stayed in her room and kept to herself.

She felt like she was doing a good job of keeping still like French told her. She would leave the house and go somewhere else if she could, but that would be dumb on her part. She had to stay put where French put her. She couldn't just venture off and risk putting her and the kids in danger. So she was forced to stay here until French returned for her.

Enrique always came back from the hospital with the news of Omari's status, but never with Omari questioning her whereabouts. Omari knew she was at his parent's house but according to her son, he never asked about her.

Inola already saw how this was playing out. With him waking up from a coma and not having her by his side, along with his mother feeding him all this false information; Omari probably was drawing his own conclusions too.

Inola had told his parents to tell him the reason why she wasn't able to come. It was dangerous outside so she couldn't be up and down. She had even stopped Enrique from going a couple times. She was feeling bad for her choice of staying away from him, but in the end it would keep her and her boys safe.

The front door opened and Phara and Collins stepped in. Today she had kept Enrique away from the trip. He was a little salty, but it was for his own good.

When Enrique heard the door open he rushed toward them to start asking questions.

"Hey guys! How's Omari?"

Phara glanced over at Inola who was sitting on the couch. She usually tried to avoid them, they noticed. Just like they tried to avoid her, but she didn't hear them pull up, so now she had to sit in the living room and endure the awkwardness.

The elderly couple were fetching in groceries courtesy of the money Frenh gave Inola. They were able to do more shopping with the $200 they received from her. Inola was spending modestly like French had told her. She still hadn't used over $2,000 yet. Along with paying for the light bill three times, she was doing good.

"He's fine baby, in his wheelchair and everything. The doctor said he should be home in less than four months, but he didn't give a particular day." Phara informed. "He was looking forward to seeing you but you're mom wanted you to stay."

Enrique rolled his eyes, "Yeah, sorry about that. I don't know why she does that sometimes. We're totally safe, now. We can go when we want."

Phara looked over at Inola who was totally oblivious to the conversation about her taking place. She was snuggled up to Joshua who's eyes were open, drooling as he stared at his mother's collarbone.

"Do you mind bringing in some groceries, honey? The car is in the driveway."

"Yeah." Enrique said, getting a pair of random shoes by the door and going outside.

Once Enrique finished helping unpack he retreated back to his room to keep watching some Marvel movies.

Phara wanted to get started on dinner early, so she took out the meat they just bought and started to dump it in bowls to clean. Collins wanted to go fix something in the bathroom just for fun, he was a busy body. But he saw the way his wife kept giving Inola's back the evil eye and didn't trust leaving Phara alone up here with her.

Collins kissed Phara on the cheek, soothingly rubbing her back. "Phara leave that girl alone. Don't say anything to her, please? Just do dinner and act like she's not here."

Phara wanted to kick her out the house for her behavior. It was only because her kids were here was the older woman sparing her. She was a mother protective over her child and she saw through Inola's shady behavior.
