Lila and James Pines had to make a decision to save their children, but only one could survive. Mabel Pines grew up a happy life with her Grunkles. Everything was easy for her and she had lots of friends but she's been having strange dreams about a boy who looks like her. A nameless boy lived a hard life as a slave in the underworld being abused by various masters. He never complained. He always smiled. But all that changed when Bill Cipher met the boy.

After a confrontation with Bill about what he is hiding. Ford finds himself in possession of Cipher's child. He decides for the safety of the child and everyone in his dimension to hide him as a human. Bill will stop at nothing to get his child back. After trying to take over Earth, Bill discovers the identity of his stolen son but Bill is his son's worse enemy. This story aligns with the current canon of the show. However, minor things do need to be different. - In this story Ford was sucked into the portal and trapped for only 10 years not 30. This is the main change and if something majorly changes I will state it in the story or edit this. My name is dipper Pines and I'm 17 years old. Me along with my twin Mable are going to gravity falls for our 4th summer there. Everyone loves Mable she's super popular. As for me I'm not a people person. I like to spend my time in the forest filling out my own journal and talking with all the magical creatures. They like me much better than my Grunkle Ford and Mable. Some of them have started calling me star child because of my birthmark. And so Dipper begins to learn the true secrets of magic with the help of Bill, someone who once was an enemy to him.
