Storybrooke is what Jefferson refers it to as Hell. Having to be stuck in a land with no magic, everyone walking around with no memory of who they really are, and him remembering every detail in his life while his daughter is with another family, and his wife believed to be dead. Everyday, he would just stay at his home watching his daughter through a telescope while trying to make a magic hat that can bring him and his family back to their old lives in the Enchanted Forest. But, like I said before; he is living in a world without magic. Fortunately, it is still a world with hope. Living in an apartment across from Mary-Margaret, there is a young woman that goes by Peri. She's a very curious girl who entered Storybrooke a month before Emma entered Storybrooke. Peri's a very outgoing woman, and adapted the Town quickly, but couldn't help but feel as if it's all an illusion. Soon, her life will change when meeting Henry, Emma, and a tall, dark, and mysterious Jefferson.

The Soldier fell for the young woman he'd been assigned to train, despite being told not to. Love blossomed between the two and they were soon married. And then, a child. But the two were forced into a dance of remembering and forgetting by their superiors. And yet, they couldn't help but find some connection between the two of them; even if they couldn't remember why. Two heroes, alongside a new recruit, battle them and an old organization few are still familiar with and truths are revealed. It all began once upon a December.
