"Curiosity killed the kitty Miss Adams." My body stiffened. Slowly I turned around just to see Mr. Parker standing in front of me with hands in his trouser pockets. I bit my lip. I thought he would be angry but when I looked at him. His face showed no emotion. He then started walking towards me I moved back. This continued until my back hit the door. Then he placed his one hand on my side, leaning forward, close to me. "What was rule number three Miss Adams." His face was extremely close to mine my breath got hitched. I couldn't answer his question why? Because I was more focused in the distance between us. "I asked you something Miss Adams." He said again. "T-That t-there a-are prohibited areas i-in the house where I shouldn't g-go." "It seems like you remember the rules. This room is one of those prohibited areas. So, from next time think before you put yourself into trouble." I just stared at his eyes. I was lost in those pair of sea-coloured eyes. No other guy has ever affected me this much as Mr. Parker. I get nervous around him. I don't know what this feeling is but this feeling is different. A feeling that I have never felt for anyone. "Understood?" he said again. I nodded. "Yes Mr. Parker." ***************** Liam Parker, 25 year old billionaire. Arrogant, handsome, ruthless, the only thing matters to him is his son and his work. Mia clings to the term "enemies" when Nicholas is around and although they couldn't be anymore alike, she seems to muffle the whispers of her feelings towards him as if her life depends on it. [ "I hate you" I manage to mutter but he nears closer at this. "Hate" he smiles "such a blurry line to stand on don't you think?" His fingers graze my chin, swirling closer to my lips but I slap it away before that could happen. "Not to me" ] • Nicholas on the other hand, well, as cold and heartless as he may be his words on the other hand may as well be as warm as the fires from hell itself when it comes to her. [ "I can't, not when you're the embodiment of my every thought, I have no control over myself when you're around can't you see that!" ] Maybe the word enemies means more than just deep seeded hatred, for once what if it's just another way of two terrified souls saying "I love you" but then again, we readers do like to hope even if it's slipping right through our own very fingers. 📚(COMPLETED)📚

Echo wasn't like her sisters. She knew that when people talked about the famous and fabulous Reid sisters, they weren't referring to her. Quiet, homely, plain and riddled with social anxiety that made it hard for her to leave the house, she could never have known what was about to happen, she never dreamed she'd live such an adventure. Luke Farina was the most dangerous man around- spoiled, selfish, extremely conceited- he didn't take no for an answer and always got what he wanted. He just never expected that the strange and ridiculous little Echo would be the one to say no and somehow become the one he had to have most. -- NOTE: Hi everyone! I really hope you take the time to read this story. It's already complete for the most part, in just taking it slow in publishing it. It's my first story and I'd love to hear your comments and feedback. I hope you decide to give it a chance! This is also part one of a series and I'm already midway through the next book which can't be released unless this one gets some positive feedback. Thank you and enjoy!
