It was a stupid idea, really. He was never going to be normal. He wasn't even likeable. Most people who actually knew him despised him. His very name spoken with vitriol by all those that used it. He and his gang, that is.
So why was he doing this? How could he possibly pretend to be any form of normal, to hide in anonymity and constructed personality online, when in reality he was a mass murderer?
They would hate them if they knew.
And yet.. he can't stop it either. The delight of the viewers in the chatbox greeting him, the way they ate up both his imaginary and very much real stories, the way they enjoyed his often stupid dark jokes or minor obsessions..
He couldn't stop playing the character.
At some point.. it stops being a character anymore.
