𝔊𝔬𝔡𝔰𝔤𝔯𝔦𝔢𝔣, a song of ice and fire

Prince Steffon Durrandon was born envious.
With an unyielding code of honor and heart poisoned by hate, Steffon Durrandon believes himself to be the sole man worthy of the title "Storm King." As Steffon's brother, the King, is a fool, his legal heir is a bastard. The prince cannot, and will not, sit idly by and allow the Kingdom of the Storm to be driven to ruin. He will be king, and he has lived his entire life in accordance with this ultimate goal.
That is until fate deals him a cruel hand, and Steffon Durrandon finds himself betrothed to a pathetic steward's daughter: Lady Alerie Tyrell.
Alerie Tyrell never wanted glory; nothing in her soul lusts for power. Unfortunately, Alerie was born to the most cunning man from the Sunset Sea to the Dornish Marches, and she finds herself pawned off to the bitter and guarded Steffon Durrandon- trapped in a mutually miserable marriage. Worse yet, the Kingdom of the Storm stands at its most divided when Alerie is thrust into a foreign and hostile court.
It would take merely the death of a single man to plunge the kingdom into a merciless war, where death is the only surrender.
