Timitrius "Boot" Zanders is a young man that developed a strong like for writing since getting locked up. Normally he writes his thoughts, or short stories to pass time while he is locked up for the next thirteen years in federal penitentiary. More so like a diary than anything else. When Boot gets a new cell mate, Drevon "Drill" Jones, that has transferred from the state penitentiary to start his federal time, he wants to venture out of his comfort zone and write a novel about Drill's life. Boot expects it to be easy being that they have nothing but time while locked up, but that proves to be more difficult than he anticipated. What happens when Boot becomes too invested in Drill, and loses focus on writing the novel about his life?
