One year later. After the destruction of the bistro in the fire, the whole "Manon" situation... it's been tough. Rody's been living with his friend from college, Richard. He hasn't really been the same. He doesn't talk much anymore. Works, pays Richard, and lies in the bed he actually could afford now that he's not spending everything on Manon. Until at one party, everything changes. Because the man who'd ruined his life appeared. Even though he was supposed to be dead. "Chasing petty romances isn't the end-all be-all in life." Vincent was not a man who could easily be swindled with anything, especially not love. Love is not something he wishes to bother with. He already had everything he could've wanted. Fame as a chef, a world-renowned restaurant of his own, and a nice apartment on top of said restaurant. What more could he ask for? Well, it was possibly the attention of the stupid little brunet waiter that worked for him, and he didn't even know it yet. (Dead Plate, but what if Vincent was normal and didn't have psychopathic tendencies)

Rody goes back to working for Vince after Manon never answered him, he still needed the job after all. He slowly forms a friendship with Vince, and eventually tells him his favorite food. Which gives Vince the perfect idea for what he can cook for Rody. (Past chapter 31 is all bonus chapters.) [Dead Plate Fanfic Post-Ending One. This has a lot of angst, and does not have a happy ending. However, I plan to make another fanfic of these two later, that does end happily.
