Hey guys. So, as many of you may already know, I am from the glorious state of Ohio. And in Ohio, there is a writing competition called Power of the Pen, exclusive to middle schoolers (Grade7-8). Basically what it is is they give you a prompt and you have to write about it. Create a story from it, I should say. Then, they would rate you on the quality of the story and your answer to the prompt. I was part of Power of the Pen and I thought this process was really fun. Thus, I decided to share the experience with you all! Pretty much what I'm going to do is every now and then, I'll update this book with prompts from Power of the Pen and give them to you. Feel free to write your own stories based on these prompts.
