"Why'd you ask me to come here, Frank?" Gerard asked pulling on his worn out Metallica t-shirt to try and mask the weight gain, painfully aware that the sunlight shone directly on his otherwise gray appearance. The man who sat opposite him's mouth pulled to the side and Gerard knew Frank could practically smell his insecurities. "To lay it all out." Frank said sipping on his steaming cup of black coffee. He'd seen Gerard at rock-bottom before, but this was different. This didn't come from a rock 'n roll lifestyle or living on the fast lane. There were no awards or sold out shows to justify the level at which he had fallen now. But Frank still managed to beam at the man who used to be and probably still was... everything. "What if I don't wanna?" Gerard squinted as his mouth twitched at the sharp reality that Frank's eyes still made him feel like he was the only thing in the world worth looking at. "What if I can't?" Frank's cheeks rose in a smile looking down at his coffee. Gerard watched him suck on his lip before looking back up at him with that school-boy-cheeky face that always managed to tear Gerard's world apart. "Then you wouldn't have come all the way out here."

Tyler Joseph just got caught being a typical dirty rockstar by someone who's never made a secret of his dislike for 'Twenty One Pilots'. There's only one thing he can do. Go beg for the witness to keep his otherwise unfiltered mouth shut. But Frank Iero isn't all he's led his fans to believe either. What if some vices are stronger and far more dangerous than random fangirls on their knees? "This shit you do is nothing, Tyler. You can walk away from nothing. You can go home, smile and kiss your wife like it never happened. But when you get caught up in something earth-shattering, you can never go home and if you do you can never be the same man. People wonder why I spend every second I can on the road? He taught me this is the only place I can be what I am." This is the story about how small lies are sometimes necessary to hide bigger ones, How grand statements distract from simple truths and how the most unlikely of characters was chosen to know the most tightly kept secret in their world. Disclaimer: I stopped giving a fuck years ago.
