Along with them come the Orlando's, a gang of two girls, two boys, and their mother. This summer, Johnny's facing his own demons, and is distant from everyone else. he's always led Mackenzie on, but this summer, the summer of '17, will be different. ••• Recommendations: "When I was reading this book it made me feel like I was at the beach house with them all, I love how carefully crafted the characters personalities are." ~ (bbyhumble) "I loved Summer of '17 because it really just fills your stomach with butterflies and hits you right in the feels." ~ (lcnzic) "I loved reading summer of '17 because it gave me a good vibe throughout the story and it was very entertaining." ~ Livi (dancer_livi) "I love this book so much. at first when I came on wattpad I was only here to read but this book inspired me to write my own book." ~ (beachymads) "Summer of '17 was the first book I've ever read of yours, and I loved it from the start. Johnny Orlando. Seventeen, and by day your typical kid; he gets good grades, plays almost all sports and loves video games. but by night? Well that's the problem. He has insomnia. No treatment works for him, and they've tried it all- pills, remedies and music. After a long year of sleepless nights, his parents sign him up for the professional cuddler business; never expecting for it to work. One month later, Johnny's sleeping better than he ever has, but that's because his professional cuddler- Mackenzie Ziegler, is very good at what she does. ••• Recommendations: "I'm like so freakin emotional rn thanks Trin." ~ Kait (-kaittt) "This book was so amazing and original. you're a well-written, creative author with awesome ideas. I loved this book from the moment I started reading it, it had such a good plot, I just had to keep reading. I didn't really ship jenzie that much before this book, but now that I've read it #jenzieisendgame." ~ Georgi (georgic2005) "OMG I can't believe this is done. I've been following this book since the beginning and I remember falling in love with the intro and now that it's finished I'm even more in love with the storyline. This book was so beautiful, realistic and incredibly well-written. I even cried reading one chapter. Good job as always Trin. You're incredible." ~ rosie (missrosie_) "I love the professional cuddler. It takes such a hard disability (Insomnia) and turns it into such an adorable relationship. This may not be a long paragraph but The Professional Cuddler is genius and I definitely recommend it. I'm still planning on reading it again. The book is so intense, but simple and amazing." ~ Grace (-leblanczieg) Genre: short story / romance Status: completed
