Cover by: My lovly sister ❤ A cool breeze blew through the French windows, as he ascended the stairs, slightly calming his thumping heart. With his back straight, his shoulders squared, his beard trimmed to perfection, his piercing, yet mysterious gray eyes, and his kurta that was tailored to precision, he was the perfect drool-worthy groom. A smile graced his lips as he passed his parents, as well as his little brother's room. This was the best part of the whole day, the time when he would be left alone with his lovely wife. A blush crept up his neck, as he recalled the heavily embroided, blood red lengha that adorned her and the shy smile that painted her porcelain face. Never in a million years had he imagined marrying his younger cousin. He was six years older than her, he had never looked at her as his younger sister neither as a supposed wife, she was just another cousin, but a few days ago that had changed. She had been encompassing his thoughts since his parents suggested that he should marry her. He halted abruptly, when he noticed Waqaas stepping out of his room, closing the door behind him. Just before Waqas could walk towards his room, which was right opposite his own, he strode towards him swiftly, putting on his best stern face. He knew Waqaas sometimes spoke to his wife, but he never thought much of it, they were cousins after all, some cousins did speak to one another, but he disapproved of it, as cousins were not mahrams. He trusted his brother would stay within his limits, but he was giving him a friendly warning. "What were you doing in my room?" His brother looked unusually sad. "Ammi wanted to give Naailah milk, so I offered to take it, since my room is right here. " He nodded stiffly. "Okay, by the way it's Naailah Bhabhi to you!" Waqaas grimaced at his brothers tone, but nodded nonetheless. He really didn't want to bring out the worst in Daniyaal. Little did he know, he would do exactly that in the futu

Safwa gazed intently at the crashing waves of the ocean, the way they started off roughly, crashed against each other , as if at war, then aproached her , leaping one after the other as if in a race, then calming down and gently washing over the shore , splashing cool, salty and foamy water around her feet , which were now stretched out in front of her. She curled her toes and sighed in contentment, enjoying the way the water cooled her feet and mind. SubhanAllah every creation of Allah is amazing but, the ocean is just something else..... She had no words to describe it's beauty. She was so lost in her thoughts, staring into the depths of the ocean, that she failed to notice the presence of a certain someone that had been watching her earlier on. "Beautiful isn't it " She broke free from her reverie, startled by a sudden male voice. That voice it sounded so fimliar....it was a distant memory but, she knew that voice very well ....and she hoped she was wrong ......

No matter how close you are to them, there are certain things you just don't say. No matter how lonely you feel, there are certain people you just don't befriend. No matter how much you've fallen, there's always a guy you shouldn't give your heart to... Sadly for me, I learnt the last one only after I had gotten my heart broken. They say that you shouldn't look down upon anyone, or you will be put in their situation and made to experience the crisis. When I was fourteen, I had rolled my eyes at a girl who was sobbing histerically over a guy who liked her best friend. And I was probably paying the price for that now. However, I was trying my best to fit my feet in the shoes I had been given. I was trying and I was managing just fine. What I didn't need was a trouble maker who entered my life without permission. The guy who claimed to be bowled over by me, the one with a broken heart. Little did he know, I had entrusted myself to Al Malik, The Owner of me and my heart. And if he had to reach me, he had to do so by pleasing Allah. Which wasn't possible for a guy like him. Or so I thought.
