Basically you are an intern announcer and as you watch the battle on the CCTV screens you become really interested in Ludwig and his big hands. The reader is AFAB which means they were assigned female at birth so have a vagina, but they are referred to with they/them pronouns and the pet names/terms of endearment aren't gendered as such.
