You are a teenage girl who one day wakes up and realizes that they're in a different universe... the game that you were just watching/ playing. To your shock, you're a adult who happens to work at the Detroit state Department, meaning that you're a detective in that universe. However, your name is still the same though. As the story progresses, both you and Connor help each other with your problems about who you guys are. This story takes place during the game. I will be referencing some events that happen, but I will not go in depth with the other playable characters.

I grew up in Detroit and was adopted, by my non-biological, Hank Anderson, who is currently employed as a detective with the help of his android friend, and used to be partner, Connor. I'm friends with Connor, but it's not like we're super close or anything. I'm still getting used to the whole android thing, but it's not like I hate androids, or just Connor in general. Why would I?
