The Empire has risen from the ashes of the Republic and Jedi Order. Anakin and Aniya Skywalker, now Sith, meet the mastermind behind it all: Darth Plagueis. As the Clone Wars worsen, Anakin and Aniya struggle with the aftermath of losing their Padawans. Elsewhere in the galaxy, Ahsoka and Alema search for a new path outside the Order, one which may end up leading them back to the masters' sides. Meanwhile, Qui-Gon finds himself questioning what it truly means to be a Jedi.

Ahsoka comes back to the Order before the end of the war for reasons Anakin doesn't know. Killed on Mustafar by Sidious while attempting to rescue Vader, Ahsoka is reborn as Luke's adopted younger sister. She struggles with constantly remembering flashes of her life as Ahsoka as she remembers more about Anakin. More than anything, she wants to find out more about her past, wants to find Anakin again in person but he's dead. Right?
