They come and play at night to watch and wait for the perfect time to strike... *** Seventeen-year-old Haze has lived a life of sleepless nights. For as long as he could remember, nightmares plagued him, violent and twisted dreams that wrapped around him like thorned vines, drawing blood from his mind until he woke, heart pounding and breath ragged. The dreams had a voice-a low, seductive whisper, taunting him, warning him of the creature lurking in the shadows. Sometimes, he could almost feel her in the room, close enough to touch. But then, just as he would reach out, she'd vanish, leaving him with only the chill of his own breath in the air.
