His victory is cut short when King Cold and his Cold Force recruit the Saiyans by force. True hell begins when the ruthless Lord Frieza takes over for his father. Despite King Vegeta's disdain, he realizes his only option was to combine forces with his cousins--the Ayatan Saiyans--to overthrow the Frieza Force. A young Prince Vegeta becomes engaged to the now Queen Miyako's daughter--Princess Makona--wielder of the infamous Red Jewel.
