"Gilmore Girls: An Alternate World" is going to start off with a few flashbacks and then it'll take off where my previous story, "Gilmore Girls: The Gilmore Girls Are Back" took off. There'll be flashbacks every now and then as well! It'll be very "How I Met Your Mother" esque, sometimes! One day, as I was writing, I thought wouldn't it be fun if I had Lorelai NOT be an only child? and that Rory would be super close with her aunts? then a wonderful friend of mine and I got to talking and she gave me a LOT of great material and ideas to work with, and I really couldn't have made this story without her! This story picks up right at the end of Season 7, immediately after the cameras quit. Rory and Lorelai are sitting in the diner talking, and Rory is trying to find the guts to tell Lorelai the news.
