Markis Stineli was a man of intelligence.
Although it was, he would admit, unusual for a man of his profession - enough so that many thought he was incapable of his line of work - Markis still believed in a great deal of things.
Most importantly, he believed in things that were not normally associated with people in his line of work. Honesty. Mortality. Justice.
As someone of his stature, he even believed in people. He believed everyone had the ability to be kind even if it had to be tortured from them.
Markis was a man of intelligence.
And he was used to the screams.

The prohibition era was full of a darkening wonder. Criminals and mobsters rule the streets, the protection fees high, and the police were bought out by the mafia. As Autumn Lee tackles her sanity with becoming the next Boss, she finds herself in the confusing and heated company of Markis Stineli. Eventually, she'll have to realize that sometimes being violent can often lead to peace.
