Mae is sick and tired of being poor. She's even more tired of supporting her entire family with her low-wage waitressing job. Her dreams of college- and her savings- are crushed when her aunt unexpectedly gets sick. When a mysterious new busboy offers to help improve her situation, Mae enters a world of theft, crime, and lies that's anything but peachy.
