The Giant War ended the same way as in canon, with earth falling to storm and fire, but the aftermath was different. The Son of the Sea--unbeknownst to everyone but his family--had plans to become warrior, long before he discovered his heritage. Despite having gone through two wars, he still felt the urge to fight. With no real ties save for friendship and family stopping him, Percy Jackson finished high school early and enlisted in the United States Navy at seventeen years of age. His goal? To become a Navy SEAL, one of the most elite warfighters on the planet. Twenty years later, Lieutenant Commander Jackson of the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU; nicknamed "SEAL Team 6" by the public) is back in America, his troop having been put on leave after being continuously deployed for several years. His original intent was to relax, but he still ended up back in the mythological world, leading to encounters and missions alongside his old friends and the rest of Olympus's forces--in particular, the Hunters of Diana. As Percy navigates the clash of his old and new lives, he partakes in audacious adventures and makes great discoveries--including some that he never sees coming. Has some language and dark themes (M).
