30something Stories

Every life is extraordinary if you make the effort to scratch beneath the surface and see what's there, how it got to be the way it is and where it's going. These posts are my means of externalising and codifying parts of my life and thoughts in an effort to reflect. Sometimes it gets heavy, sometimes it's light. Sometimes I want to write about holidays while other times I'm thinking about my missing socks. It's a real mixed bag (so far), but I'm pretty certain that there will be things that you can relate to if you take the time to read a post or two. The posts are in no particular order and vary greatly, so if you're curious, take a chance and dive into something that tickles your fancy. Enjoy!

Its been a year since Reagan Bennett's father passed. Though she has a successful career in publishing, shes still despondent over the reality that she's completely on her own. Unbeknownst to her friends, she masks her pain by clubbing and an sexual relationship with Greyson, who wants more from her. Until her fathers lawyer contacts her, while settling her fathers estate he uncovers that her father still owns their family cottage. Baffled as to why he would still have it after what happened that one summer. She heads to Virginia to check it out. There she runs into the handsome surgeon Damian Hill, who's family owns the boarding property. She discovers a deception that could leave her shattered. Will she retreat to isolation or will she let him pull her out of the darkness?
