Flight90
The son of two Ottoman sympathizers who were killed in the Balkan Wars, sixteen-year-old Albanian Ardit lives as an orphan in Durrës, spending most of his days wandering the docks. When Prince Wilhelm of Wied arrives to rule Albania, he briefly meets Ardit and, through an interpreter, promises to restore peace to the country. But Wilhelm is soon forced to flee Albania at the outbreak of World War I. Devastated by the news, Ardit spits into the water, changes his name, and vows to do better than the German prince. Driven by a thirst for vengeance against the Serbs, he joins the Bulgarian army, determined to take matters into his own hands.
