Asta isn't one to use the magic communication device that Klaus had given them to stay in touch. After all when he wasn't busy it was safe to say that Yuno was, though there were rare moments where Asta did call and the two would catch up some but those were on days they typically both had off, and in the day. Never in the dead of night. So when the device started glowing and ringing loudly well after midnight it had startled Yuno right out of sleep and after pin pointing the source of the noise he felt a sharp stab of fear in his gut. Something was wrong, he just knew it. Yuno practically leapt out of bed grabbing the magic communication device in a vice grip and quickly answering it. "Asta?" he asked in a rushed voice still slightly dry from from sleep. The line is terrifying quiet for a moment. And then he hears Asta groan on the other end. "Yuno, I think I'm dying."

Black Clover. It was a show that my best friend told me to watch, and thought about too. I recently started that show and practically immersed myself into every aspect from the series. Perhaps I loved it so much that I immersed myself into the world itself! (Black Clover Self-Insert)

A Prequel to "Children of the Future!" Asta has finally achieved his dream of becoming the Wizard King, there are celebrations and happiness, it was a long time coming! But the excitement is cut short when he suddenly loses contact with the Spade Kingdom. A darkness is coming for the Clover Kingdom, and many changes along with it, will our heroes and their families be able to weather the darkness? Or will they succumb to it?

Asta never got his grimoire. That didn't stop him from trying to take the magic knights' scouting event, however. WARNINGS angst, trauma, referenced depression, implied SA, horror, child abuse. it's not that bad but it still might upset people who dont know also i'm not glorifying any of the aforementioned topics Edit: this story is on hold for however long i feel like i guess. i wrote most of this fic when i was 13 but i'm an adult now and i dont really have much Projection Material to add into the story anymore. i DO still have the script but i kind of lost the spark i had when i was younger. I don't really write anymore
