There was a bit of quiet after she walked out, not followed by another, yet still the microphone spot was empty. "Where's their lead singer?" Remus shouted at Grant over the crowd. "Just wait" Grant replied, equally as loud as the lights dimmed in the audience and a spotlight was put on center stage. Dorcas Meadowes had always felt out of place in Hogwarts. Her parents had divorced many years ago, with her father moving to America and Dorcas having to stay put in Scotland with her mother. However, when Fifth Year rolled around, Dorcas's father finally wrote to her. Agreeing (after much convincing) to go stay with Gustave for a few weeks -a sort of trial period to see whether she preferred it over in America-, and she loved it. Much to the dismay of her friends back at Hogwarts, Dorcas had decided to transfer. Not just because she wanted a fresh start, but because she finally may have a place at Ilvermorny.
