(Mafia!Romano x Reader) I have recently gotten back into the Mafia AU so let me explain how I think it works. There are the five different mafia families; Braginsky, Wang, Vargas, Williams, and the Yakuza. Kiku plays a different role in the story, so the Yakuza is run by Im Yong Soo (and allegedly his elder brother North Korea but we don't talk about him). Now before you yell at me about how the Yakuza are "a japanese based organisation" you're wrong. They also exist in Korea. The Braginsky family deals in illegal firearms, the Wang in drug trafficking, Vargas in cybercrime and illegal weapons, Williams in illegal trading of natural resources and wildlife and the Yakuza in human trafficking. That's about it for now, the backstory starts in the first chapter.
