(SPIN OFF SERIES TO MY STEVE HARRINGTON STORY, TAKES PLACE BEFORE AND DURING SEASONS 1-3) Amber Sweetwater was always known as being the sweetest girl at Hawkins High School...and it wasn't just because it was in her name. Everyone loved Amber. Girls wanted to be her friend; boys wanted to date her. She was gorgeous, she wore the best clothes, got the best grades, and had the hottest boyfriend, who also happened to be the quarterback of the football team. And to top it all off, she was just a nice person. But much to the ignorance of just about everyone, Amber's life is not as perfect as it seems on the outside. Her good looks are only maintained through constant body shaming at the hands of her mother, forced beauty pageant participation, and eating and exercise habits bordering on an eating disorder. Her grades are only maintained as a means of keeping her abusive father at bay, and her so-called perfect boyfriend has impossible expectations that Amber practically kills herself trying to maintain. Everyone assumes that they know what her life is like...including Eddie 'The Freak' Munson. So imagine both his and Amber's surprise when a terrible night in the rain forces both of them to realize that there is actually more to them than their classmates like to presume. Imagine the shock and confusion when Amber's perfect life is not so perfect after all, and when Eddie, who is thought to be scary and murderous, is actually sweet and kind. But the biggest shock of all might just come to both of them when they discover that they actually can be friends...and maybe even something beyond that.

From growing beyond the burdens of childhood trauma to the liberating beauty of an empty forest, from escaping the haunting horrors of everyday life to the comfort of breaking free from conformity. This book was formerly titled Nocturnal Lullabies and it won the 2018 Wattys Poetry Award.

THEY ARE OWNED BY SLIPKNOT AND THEIR RESPECTIVE RECORDING COMPANIES. I'M JUST COMPILING THE LYRICS FOR PEOPLE SO THEY KNOW WHAT THE WORDS ARE :). I will be going in order from discography, just like my Avenged Sevenfold one (I accidentally did self-titled before MFKR, so if you can't find that right away, that's why). Only difference is this time I won't be adding my ratings and opinions. Still feel free to comment under your favorite songs though! WARNING: MATURE CONTENT AND LANGUAGE. The Kiss of Infinite Sorrow is a collection of poetry filled with various verses and lyrical styles. Whether you prefer ballads, sonnets, blank verse, lyrical poems, etc., I'm sure you will find one that will offer you great satisfaction. The themes vary from romance to melancholy, love to hate and lust, war, and stories of gothic horror. Some can be about knights who honor the code despite all odds stacked against them, while others are mere worship of dark goddesses, and even vampires. There are other poems that are inspired by ballads as well as heavy metal songs. No matter the theme or style, these poems are filled with the amalgamation of light and darkness. I hope that you enjoy!
