(Y/n) (L/n), a kind and softhearted young woman, wakes up in a strange underground facility with no recollection of how exactly she got there. In fact, she can't remember much of anything at all. Much to her horror, she discovers that the underground facility is the hunting ground for several psychotic killers; each of which have their sights set on (Y/n) as their next victim. Taking up the role of a rat trapped in a maze, (Y/n) struggles to survive and make it to the surface as she regains her lost memories on the way. The more she remembers, however, the more she realizes how little she actually has to live for as well as she becomes aware of a dark side of herself that scares and disgusts her. Falling into despair and losing her will to live, (Y/n) makes a deal with the scythe-wielding manic mummy of a serial killer named Zack; She'll help him escape from this building of puzzles, death traps, and murderers if he kills her after they escape. Thus, an uncanny alliance is made. As the two spend time getting to know each other and help one another survive, however, their feelings for each other and their promise begins to change.
