This is an Alternate Universe where Elizabeth (AU JeongTae Eul) is royalty and James (AU Lee Gon) is a Paladin - one of four special guards to the usurper King. Five years after the night of the coup, James still served the usurper King despite deep personal misgivings. As a Paladin, he was sworn to serve the Crown for life. With the formal King's entire bloodline destroyed, there was no future in rebelling. Or was there? This is a fanction loosely based on Kdrama The King Eternal Monarch

She liked Jo Yeong since they were kids, but their relationship became undefineable as they spent five years apart. They grew up. With the Parallel Universes colliding, she meets Jo Eunsup, Yeong's counterpart from another world. He has all of the personality Seul wanted Young to have, but as reality is defined, Seul gets in a dilemma. Would she choose the reality she wants, or the reality she has?

In the new timeline, ex-convict Koo Seo Ryeong reflects on how a smart person born with beauty and brains ended up going against her beliefs of the institution of marriage. This ties in with my story of Choe Min Hyeon and Koo Seo Ryeong in Moving On With You. I never intended to write these two but they jumped out at me as uncontrollable characters. This is their backstory.

Heavy Jo Yeong whump for the events that happened after he passes out in ep 16 of TKEM. This is my first Fan Fiction. Please, show your love for this. It is based on the Korean drama, "The King: Eternal Monarch" originally written by Kim Eun-sook. The basic storyline and the main characters are the writer, Kim Eun-sook's creations. Therefore, some of the dialogues of the characters, I'll be using in this fanfic, are the same as the original series.
