"Cedric!" I shout. Nothing. "Cedric!" Nothing still. "Cedric!" Nothing "Ce-" the door slams open and a still shirtless Cedric is at the door glaring at me. "Yes, kitten?" he asks calmly. He looks at me with sympathy. "Can you turn on the fan?" I ask innocently. His jaw drops as he stares at me. "Please." He huffs and reaches his hand out to the switch. He flicks the fan on and I snuggle into the covers. I thank him and he growls as he mutters under his breath about how his mate is very ungrateful. --- A girl mermaid, Muriel, just wanted to live a normal life. She wanted to grow up with having all the knowledge on sea creatures and writing books about how all mythical beings live in the shadows of humans. She wanted to one day meet her soul mate and live happily ever after. But of course nothing ever turns out liked planned. Muriel just bumps into her soul mate and runs off. She wants to settle down in her life before meeting her soul mate. But of course to make it even worse her soul mate isn't a merman but a werewolf. But not just any werewolf a leader werewolf. Not just any leader w... you get the point. She is mated to an alpha. Not just any alpha but a self arrogant, powerful, rude alpha. "Could life get any worse?" Muriel asks. Of Course it does. Come read about the life of Muriel and how she survives the clutches of an Alpha. *** I wanted to just put out there that I don't read many werewolf and mermaid stories so this might be a little different. If you have a problem of how I imagine these mythical beings I don't want to hear so just delete the book from your reading list and move on. It isn't that hard. And second of all, pack as in werewolves, as in humans/wolves. There you have it folks, now meet Redna and watch/read as her story unfolds before your eyes. Redna, the orphan, the slave, the victim, the Omega. Her parents left her to strive on her own in the woods. They stranded her in the forest with nothing but the clothes on her back to survive on her own when she was only six. Now she's seventeen turning eighteen in a couple months. Clayton the beta and soon to be alpha of the Spirit Moon pack has just stumbled upon a girl who doesn't know where she is, doesn't know her own name, and can barely see.
