Wicked is out of resources. In order to keep the other two experiments functional, they have to discontinue one. They send the last of their supplies and open the passage way between experiment A and B as well as...activating four SUBJECTS. With their now fully self sufficient Glade, how will the Gladers go about living the rest of their lives?

Joan is the only name I remember, once I came up in the box. I was surrounded by lush green grass and high concrete walls, alone. I welcomed the other girls as they came up, built shelters and assigned jobs, but I was still cast out. Welcome to the jungle - or, The Maze, as most would say. Or that's what she thought, until Thomas arrived. His arrival created change, something they needed since long ago. He was what they needed to go out, and she knew it. Thomas might not be just a greenie with secrets, he might be the key to solve the riddle she's been trying to figure out as long as she can remember- literally. And with Newt's behavior becoming stranger by each passing day, Clara is caught in a riddle of secrets, mazes and perhaps love too.
