The 53rd class of Hopes Peak Academy find themselves is quite the situation, when the 77th class blows up part of the building. The world's biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history started that day, due to that specific class. Well, that's what everyone thought at first. That was until Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, reveals himself as a traitor, having lied about all his intentions. He had never cared about the others, but was merely acting. *Lying*. He was an Ultimate Despair, second to that of Junko Enoshima. But is that really the truth of the matter? A/N Hey, so I came up with this idea a long time ago, and I just decided to write it because I don't have much else to do. It's just a 'what if' scenario if Kokichi had been a Remnant of Despair, really. There might be some shippy stuff, I don't really know. If that's what people want, I wouldn't be against it or anything. I'm just, really bad at romance lmao. And also this'll be prey family friendly, with just some swearing. Because tbh I really, REALLY hate fan service based things? Yeah, that's not the correct term, but I'm pretty sure you can realize what I'm talking about. After a failed attempt on the first motive. Monokuma warned everyone that they will regret messing up his motive. Others didn't seem to be affected by it, but what happens when a mystery motive comes in that leads to everyone soon regretting taking care of the motive.

After getting into a fight with one and other, Kokichi and Shuichi were forced to live together. Little did they know, this punishment given to them would be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Shuichi, who's usually busy with other matters, has been tasked with watching over a new inmate. When he realizes just who it is that's behind bars, he freezes, his expression full of confusion. However, Kokichi, the man on the other side, seems jolly as ever to know it's Shuichi who's watching him. The two of them get into shenanigans, maybe even start to fall in love?~ ( Not my first time writing stories, but typing, yes. I'll usually update regularly. I suck at descriptions. Criminal AU? Or would this be an Assassin AU? Idk.

Kokichi and Shuichi are pretty close, but not that close. Do they share feelings for one another? Kokichi is ALREADY falling for Shuichi. Shuichi is still learning and cares more about Kaede Akamastu. Warning! This book is like Danganronpa V3 but not really but the murders + motives will still happen! Kay? Kay!

These people are supposed to act cold and rude. Hearts (Beauty)- these people are mainly actors or models. They love dressing up and doing make up and have a keen fashion sense. Most become models, actors, or even s-x icons, but some choose the path of making clothes. These people are supposed to act stuck up and confident. Spades (Anger)- these people are angry. They are known for their expertise in combat, war knowledge, and leadership skills. They are head of the army and that's were most people end up working. But some makes armed weapons, Then there are the Jokers (Mystery). These are what are called Mistakes or Defects. They are pushed into one side of the. Nobody really knows who these people are and they don't have a full kingdom. Most keep their identities because its forbidden for them to interact with the 'normal' people.
