We gained a lot to lose so easily in only just a few hundred years, and a solar storm could do just that if we're not prepared. Unfortunately, there of course is nothing we could do to stop the solar flares from hitting us, we only could predict it or get some early warning to simply try and be ready in time. Luckily, this story follows just that.
